CAMPING At THE GROVES
The Groves has daily, weekly and monthly camping available from May to October. Our large campsites are in beautiful wooded areas, along our creek or on the park square and offer 30 amp service (some 50 amp sites) and most have water hookups. We also have tent areas in more secluded areas of the woods. We have plenty of sites that can be used as pull through sites, if necessary. There is a dump station, as well as Honey Wagon service, for your septic needs.
The Groves has several hundred electric/water sites and over one thousand primitive sites on the over 200 acre property.
AMENITIES AT THE GROVES
Under new ownership and management in 2023, the Groves is updating the existing bathrooms, shower house, and laundry facility.
The Groves has acres of woods to explore, a play ground, and is building a Championship-Level Disc Golf Course. There is plenty of room for bike riding and an area for RC cars. Our wish list includes a putting green or putt putt, and a tournament corn hole area. We are working on the 4 acre pond (dammed creek) for canoes, kayaks and fishing for the 2024 season. A pond is on the wish list for the 2024 or 2025 season.
Like to play cards and games? Join us for Euchre and Bunko tournaments and other game nights. We plan to have entertainment for major weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day).
There will be a dog park for our furry friends for the 2024 season.
The camp store will begin hosting a coffee shop on select weekends and during events. For special events and select weekends, we will also have food trucks including our 1926 Model T Truck with a wood fired pizza oven.
We now have high speed internet at the camp store and will look to increase coverage to other areas in the campground. There is also good cell signal at the campground and hot spots work well (a major cell tower is on our property for AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile/Spint).
The Groves is within a few miles of several lakes and roughly an hour or two to many great Michigan Locations – Ann Arbor, Detroit, Lansing, and Grand Rapids to name a few.

Do you have an RV that you want to park somewhere more permanent? The Groves has seasonal sites as well as storage options. Seasonal sites include winter storage.

EVENTS AT THE GROVES
Directly across from Michigan International Speedway, The Groves is a great spot to camp for events like NASCAR and the Faster Horses Music Festival. There is a large vendor area during the NASCAR event where you will find great merchandise as well as food.
In addition to these MIS events, the Groves will have additional scheduled events that are listed on The Groves’ Facebook events page. For the 2024 season, there will be several music events, sporting events and family event weekends.
